New York, May 01 (QNA) - US stocks ended Thursday trading at a new all-time high.

The S&P 500 closed at a new record, ending trading 1.02 percent higher at 7,209.01. The Nasdaq followed suit, closing at a record high. And while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was the strongest gainer of the day, closing 1.62% higher, it is still slightly below its all-time high set in February.

Thursday capped the last trading day of April, which saw all three indexes record massive gains on the month as enthusiasm for the AI trade returned. (QNA)
