Six Killed, Eight Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, May 01 (QNA) - Six people were killed and eight others wounded in two Israeli airstrikes on the town of Haboush in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon, on Friday.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center stated that Israeli warplanes targeted Haboush on two separate occasions, which resulted in the deaths of six people, including a child and a woman, and injuries to eight others.
The statement added that an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle in the town of Toulene, with initial reports indicating casualties. Another warplane also struck a house in the town of Froun in the Bint Jbeil district.
The center reported that the town of Rashkananiyeh in the Tyre district was also targeted in an Israeli airstrike, while the Israeli army fired several artillery shells toward the Shaab al-Qalb area on the outskirts of the town of Shebaa. (QNA)
