Lebanon Says Death Toll Rises to 2,618 in Israeli Strikes
Beirut, May 01 (QNA) - Lebanon has reported that the number of people killed in Israeli airstrikes has risen to 2,618, according to the Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center.
In a statement on Friday, the center said the number of injured had also increased to 8,094 since the aggression began on March 2.
It said Israeli forces continued to carry out airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, in what it described as ongoing violations of a US-brokered ceasefire.
The report added that multiple regions in the south were also hit by artillery shelling and additional air raids. (QNA)
