QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, April 09 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 42.94 points, or 0.40%, at the start of trading on Thursday, falling to 10,619 points from the previous session's close, under pressure from all sectors.
The market was weighed down by Transportation (-0.20%), Telecoms (-0.26%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.27%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.31%), Insurance (-0.62%), Real Estate (-0.62%), and Industrials (-0.67%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 111.874 million, with 47.472 million shares traded across 5,471 transactions. (QNA)
