Qatar Tourism Participates in Extraordinary Meeting of GCC Tourism Ministers

Doha, April 7 (QNA) - Qatar Tourism participated Tuesday in the extraordinary meeting of Their Excellencies the Ministers responsible for tourism in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held virtually.

The meeting, attended by HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism (QT) Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, discussed the latest developments in the region and their potential impact on the tourism sector in the GCC countries.

In a statement, Qatar Tourism (QT) indicated that Their Excellencies the Ministers responsible for tourism in the GCC countries affirmed that the tourism sector in the GCC countries continues its operations, given the advanced infrastructure, high operational efficiency, and tourism services system in Gulf destinations, which are capable of maintaining performance continuity and the sector's stability.

They also reiterated that Gulf destinations will continue to offer safe and distinctive tourism experiences, emphasizing the readiness of the tourism sector in the GCC countries and its ability to cope with current changes and continue its growth. (QNA)
