Jordanian King, Spanish Premier Discuss Repercussions of Middle East Tension
Amman, April 06 (QNA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan and Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez held a phone call on Monday to discuss the dangerous repercussions of the ongoing tension in the Middle East.
During the call, King Abdullah II stressed the need for an immediate end to Iranian attacks targeting Jordan and a number of Arab countries, and underscored the importance of respecting the sovereignty of states.
He warned of the risk of prolonging the conflict and exacerbating the economic burden on the region and the world.
The King also cautioned against exploiting the current regional situation to impose new realities on the ground in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza. (QNA)
