CGB, Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Labour Launch Legal Path to Labour Market Initiative
Doha, April 06 (QNA) - The Ministries of Justice and Labour, and the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) launched the "legal path to the labour market" initiative during a meeting organized with the participation of a number of job seekers who recently graduated in the legal field, as part of joint efforts aimed at qualifying national legal competencies and enhancing their professional readiness in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
Director of the CGB's Nomination and Replacement Department, Dhabia Ahmed Al Buainain said that this initiative represents a well-thought-out response to the needs of the labour market, by providing an applied training path concerned with developing the legal capabilities of recent graduates, and preparing them to engage in the work environment efficiently.
In turn, Acting Director of the Rehabilitation and Skills Development Department at the Ministry of Labour Mohammed Al Khulaifi emphasized the importance of launching the initiative in light of the growing trend toward encouraging national cadres to pursue professional experiences in the private sector, given the dynamic environment and opportunities it provides for development and acquiring diverse experiences.
He pointed out that the "legal path to the labour market 2026" initiative represents a distinguished launching platform that contributes to qualifying participants and refining their skills in line with the requirements of the labour market, and supports their transition with confidence and efficiency towards a promising professional future.
For his part, Director of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice Dr. Abdullah Hamad Al Khaldi stressed the importance of the initiative to qualify the initiative's members to enter the labour market with merit and efficiency, and to ensure that legal professionals possess the capabilities and skills necessary to conduct legal work with the required quality and skills.
The initiative provides theoretical and practical training over three months, based on two main tracks, which include legal qualification for work in government agencies, and legal qualification for work in the private sector, with the number of trainees reaching 33 graduates of law colleges.
The initiative's training curriculum combines specialized knowledge with practical application, and covers topics including the drafting of legislation and contracts, the writing of legal memoranda, litigation procedures, and the analysis of legal texts.
The program is supervised by specialists in legal fields, which contributes to preparing participants for the requirements of the legal work environment. It is followed by two weeks of tests and final evaluation, to ensure the measurement of the level of scientific and professional achievement of the participants in accordance with the training regulations of the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies.
