Abu Dhabi, April 5 (QNA) - HH President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in a telephone call on Sunday with Syrian President Ahmad Al Sharaa developments in the region and their serious repercussions on regional security and stability.

During the call, the two sides addressed the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, which have affected civilians, facilities, and civilian infrastructure, and constitute a violation of the sovereignty of states, international law, and the UN Charter.

For his part, the Syrian President expressed pride in the longstanding relations between the UAE and Syria.

The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation and joint action in a manner that serves their mutual interests and benefits their peoples. (QNA)
