Two Killed, 13 Injured in Israeli Airstrike on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, April 29 (QNA) - Two people were killed, and 13 others wounded today in an Israeli airstrike targeting southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese health authorities.
The Emergency Operations Center at the Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that the strike hit the town of Jibchit, resulting in the casualties.
Earlier in the day, the ministry reported that the death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 2,534, with 7,863 others injured.
The Israeli military has continued to violate a ceasefire agreement reached on April 16 through US mediation. The truce was initially set for 10 days before being extended to three weeks. (QNA)
