Sanya (China), April 29 (QNA) - HE President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned the top three beach volleyball position winners at the 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026.

Qatar won the gold medal after defeating Iran in the final match, placing Iran in 2nd place with silver, while Thailand secured the bronze medal after a strong competition with Oman.

His Excellency congratulated the winners on their achievements, praising the athletes for their high technical performances and competitive spirit, which reflect Olympic values.

These competitions highlight the growing development of beach sports on the continent, HE the President of OCA said, reaffirming the Council's commitment to boosting these sports and providing competitive platforms for Asian athletic talents to shine. (QNA)
