Qatar Airways Resumes Daily Services to Bahrain and Kozhikode
Doha, April 27 (QNA) - Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of daily flights to Bahrain and Kozhikode, India, starting May 1, as part of its ongoing efforts to reinstate its global network.
In a statement released today, Qatar Airways confirmed that this announcement follows the airline's recent resumption of daily flights to Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE, which began April 23, and to Damascus, Syria, starting May 1. These flights aim to provide passengers with greater flexibility and enhanced connectivity across the Middle East and beyond.
The statement added that building on this momentum, Qatar Airways is advancing the phased restoration of its global network, enhancing passenger access to key markets across six continents.
The airline advised passengers to visit the Qatar Airways website or app and ensure their contact information is up to date, noting that passengers with tickets issued for travel between February 28 and September 15, 2026, are eligible for several options.
These options include complimentary date changes to a new travel date up to October 31, 2026 when rebooking on flights operated by Qatar Airways, subject to availability and fare seasonality. Passengers can also receive a refund of the unused ticket value, subject to standard fare rules. Refunds may take up to 28 working days to be processed.
The statement further indicated that if a flight changes occur, passengers can still make additional booking changes free of charge until October 31, 2026, maintaining their original class of travel, irrespective of fare seasonality, in addition to receiving a refund of any unused ticket value.
