Doha, April 27 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelaaty.

The two sides touched on bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them. They also discussed developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and efforts aimed at de-escalation to enhance security and stability in the region.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for all parties to engage with the ongoing mediation efforts, in a fashion that paves the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis via peaceful means and dialogue, through to reaching a sustainable agreement that prevents re-ignition of the crisis.
