Oman and Bahrain Leaders Discuss Regional Crisis and Maritime Security

Muscat, April 27 (QNA) - Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman held a telephone call on Monday with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to address the ongoing crisis.

During the call, the two leaders reviewed regional efforts aimed at de-escalation, as well as measures to safeguard maritime navigation amid heightened tensions.

They stressed the need to intensify both regional and international efforts to protect national interests and ensure the safety of populations, while resolving disputes through peaceful diplomatic means in accordance with international law.

Both sides also emphasized the importance of respecting state sovereignty and reinforcing security and stability at both regional and global levels. (QNA)
