Doha, April 26 (QNA) - Umm Salal coach Ruben Albes and Al Ahli coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 22 match, scheduled on Monday.

Umm Salal coach said: "The most important thing in this match is to win; there is no alternative. We must be fully focused and give our all on the pitch. Every player in the team understands the importance and difficulty of this encounter, which is why we have been so focused over the past few days, preparing intensely for one goal: to stay in the league."

"The team is working with a strong team spirit," said Ruben Albes.

For his part, coach Younes Ali said: "The game would be difficult and our team is prepared to secure a victory."

"We have a tough and crucial match ahead of us. It is of great importance and its difficulty is not limited to Al Ahli; it is also significant for Umm Salal, as it affects both teams’ positions in the league standings. Therefore, we must approach it with this mindset. My focus would be solely on winning the match," he added.

"The team has put the AFC Champions League Two campaign behind it and is now fully focused on the Umm Salal game, determined to achieve its objective," said Younes. (QNA)
