Doha, April 26 (QNA) - Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez and Al Duhail Coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 22 match slated for Monday.

"We have an important and difficult match ahead of us against Al Duhail. We aim to achieve a positive result and translate our work into a tangible performance on the field. We are looking to win, and we hope to succeed in that, or at least draw and add a point to our tally, which would strengthen our position in the standings," said Lopez.

"I am satisfied with the work we have done this season. We have competed for the top spots and are still in contention for a top-four finish, which confirms that we have had a good season," he added.

For his part, Djamel Belmadi said: "The upcoming match against Qatar SC in the final round of Doha Bank Stars League is an ideal preparation for the Amir Cup, which concludes the current season."

"The Qatar SC match is crucial for the team, especially as it comes at the end of the league season and just before a vital quarterfinal match against Al Arabi in the Amir Cup," he added.

"The team has prepared well for this match and aims to perform well and finalize its readiness before the Amir Cup fixture," said Belmadi. (QNA)
