Doha, April 26 (QNA) - Al Wakrah coach Jose Sierra and Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 22 match, slated for Monday.

"Our preparations for the final league match against Al Sailiya proceeded as usual, as the team is accustomed to doing before each game, and we are ready for the match," Al Wakrah coach Jose Sierra said.

"During the break, we played a strong friendly against Al Shahania, where we tried to maintain our match rhythm, approaching it as if it were an official game," he added.

"In the world of football, any team must always focus on what is ahead, not what will happen later. For us, the most important thing is to deliver a good performance against Al Sailiya and strive for victory," said Sierra.

For his part, l Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain said: "We are entering the game with a strong determination to win and improve our position in the standings."

"This match represents the end of the season and we aim to finish it in the best possible way. We have a strong motivation to achieve victory, especially as it is an opportunity to strengthen our position and make our fans happy," he added.

"The team has prepared well for the match, focusing on physical and tactical aspects. I have respect for Al Wakrah, but at the same time we have confidence in the players’ ability to achieve the desired result," said Mirghani. (QNA)
