1 Killed, 3 Injured in Ukrainian Drone Strike on Sevastopol, Crimea
Moscow, April 26 (QNA) - One person was killed and three others were injured in an attack by Ukrainian drones targeting the city of Sevastopol in Crimea, according to local authorities loyal to Moscow.
Sevastopol governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said air defenses managed to shoot down 43 drones during the attack and that there were casualties. One man was killed inside his car and the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
He added that the attack caused material damage to a number of homes in various parts of the city, which houses the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
These developments come amid escalating attacks between Russia and Ukraine, with Kyiv launching drone strikes on targets inside Russian territory in response to ongoing Russian shelling, particularly against energy infrastructure facilities.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian authorities announced on Saturday that at least eight people were killed in the city of Dnipro, following Russian airstrikes that lasted for about 20 consecutive hours. (QNA)
