Cairo, April 24 (QNA) - Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a phone call with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul to discuss the latest regional and international developments.

According to Egypt's foreign ministry, Abdelatty stressed the importance of maintaining a ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and restoring stability in the region.

He also highlighted the role of Europe in backing de-escalation initiatives and promoting dialogue. (QNA)
