Doha, April 23 (QNA) - The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) and the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of technical training, vocational qualification, and the exchange of scientific and technical expertise.

The agreement supports innovation, advances the knowledge-based economy, and aligns with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly in developing human capital and empowering youth with technical knowledge and skills.

The memorandum was signed by CCQ's Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Abdullah Khalid Al Ali and QSC's Deputy Director Eng. Abdulrahman Saleh Khamis, in the presence of officials from both sides.

The agreement stipulates cooperation in providing technical consultations, exchanging scientific expertise, involving students in research programs and scientific projects, supporting joint initiatives and events, and facilitating students' access to the club's facilities while enhancing their participation in scientific and volunteer activities.

Al Ali affirmed in a speech that this partnership represents a qualitative addition to the college's efforts in empowering students and providing an educational environment that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application.

He noted that collaboration with the Scientific Club opens broad horizons for students in experimentation and innovation, strengthening their capabilities in research and application.

For his part, Eng. Khamis described the MoU as a strategic step to enhance integration between educational and scientific institutions.

He emphasized that QSC is committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to developing youth skills and advancing their scientific and technical capabilities through high-quality programs that keep pace with global developments. (QNA)
