QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, April 22 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened lower on Wednesday, losing 8.08 points, or 0.08%, falling to 10,676 points, compared to the previous session's close, under pressure from three sectors.
The market was weighed down by the Consumer Goods and Services sector by (-0.11%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.20%), and Telecoms (-0.51%). However, performance was positive for the Insurance sector by (+0.46%), Real Estate (+0.14%), and Industrials (+0.09%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 85.649 million, with 46.544 million shares traded in 3,931 transactions. (QNA)
