European Stocks Open Slightly Higher
Brussels, April 22 (QNA) - European shares climbed on Wednesday as traders responded positively to US President Donald Trump’s announcement of an indefinite ceasefire with Iran, while investors also parsed a raft of regional corporate earnings reports.
Major regional markets also inched higher, with Germany’s DAX and France’s CAC adding 0.50% and 0.33%, respectively.
European shares were mixed, with Italy’s FTSE MIB rising 0.31%, while Britain’s FTSE 100 was little changed, as falling oil prices weighed on energy stocks. (QNA)
