Gaza, April 22 (QNA) - The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,562 martyrs, with 172,320 wounded, since Oct. 7, 2023.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that hospitals received one martyr who succumbed to previous injuries and four wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The sources added that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.

They also noted that since the ceasefire in Oct. 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 786, while the number of wounded has risen to 2,217, in addition to 761 bodies that have been recovered. (QNA)
