HH the Amir Holds Phone Call with Lebanese President

Doha, April 21 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a phone call today with HE President of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon General Joseph Aoun.

During the call, they discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly in Lebanon. In this regard, HH the Amir expressed his reassurance about the situation in the Republic of Lebanon, affirming the State of Qatar's backing for the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

For his part, HE the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for his support and for the State of Qatar's unwavering stance alongside his country.

The call also addressed regional and international efforts aimed at containing tensions and supporting paths toward solutions, in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the Middle East. (QNA)
