Gold Prices Fall as Dollar Rises
New York, April 21 (QNA) - Gold prices fell on Wednesday, pressured by a stronger dollar and rising bond yields, hitting their lowest level in more than a week.
Spot gold fell 2 percent to $4,724.31 an ounce, while U.S. gold futures for June delivery dropped 1.8 percent to $4,743.50.
As for other precious metals, silver fell 4 percent to $76.63 an ounce, platinum declined 2.6 percent to $2,035, and palladium lost 0.6 percent to $1,538.78. (QNA)
