Qatar Stock Market Edges Lower as Trading Closes in Doha

Doha, April 20 (QNA) - Qatar's stock market ended Monday's session in negative territory, with the main index slipping by 0.43%, according to official figures.
The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange fell by 46.03 points to close at 10,672.20 points, reflecting modest selling pressure across sectors.
During the session, a total of 152.7 million shares were traded, with a combined value of approximately QR 450.6 million (around $124 million). Trading activity was spread across all sectors, with 25,424 transactions recorded.
Market breadth was mixed. Shares in 23 companies rose, while 24 declined, and six firms closed unchanged.
The overall market capitalization stood at QR 637.3 billion at the end of trading, down from QR 638.9 billion in the previous session, indicating a slight contraction in market value. (QNA)
