In his address, Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, Fadl bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, said the launch of the new strategy marks a key step in strengthening the country's social protection system. He noted that the strategy set out a comprehensive roadmap based on core outcomes, including an awareness-driven approach aimed at combating violence against women and children, and reinforcing the foundations of safe and stable families through preventive programs, community partnerships, and the provision of integrated, high-quality protection, rehabilitation, and empowerment services for women and children affected by violence and family breakdown.
These efforts are designed to ensure independence and enable effective social integration, alongside the development of sustainable institutional capacities that enhance transparency and professionalism, and ensure financial stability. This, in turn, supports the realization of the center's vision and mission to strengthen social protection for women and children and to promote family stability.
Al Kaabi further highlighted that the strategy is the product of a collective effort by Aman Center staff, developed entirely by internal teams, reflecting confidence in national expertise and a thorough understanding of beneficiaries' needs and broader societal challenges.
He also emphasized the importance of effectively promoting Aman Center’s new vision under its 2026-2030 strategy, which aims to foster a safe family environment where women and children can enjoy stability and a dignified life. The strategy is grounded in a set of core values, including social empowerment, professionalism and innovation, community partnership, transparency and accountability, as well as quality and sustainability.
Structured around key pillars, the strategy aims to strengthen the prevention of domestic violence through targeted awareness programs that promote family cohesion and constructive dialogue, fostering a safe family and community environment within a framework of positive partnerships. It also focuses on adopting scientific methodologies, developing and implementing unified operational guidelines for intake and early intervention, and delivering comprehensive rehabilitation programs that rebuild trust and enhance independence.
In addition, the strategy seeks to develop standardized tools to measure the impact of rehabilitation programs on psychological, behavioral, and social well-being, while strengthening institutional frameworks and financial sustainability to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the center's services.
