Gold Drops After Trump Says US to Continue Iran War
Singapore, April 02 (QNA) - Gold prices reversed their course on Thursday, dropping more than 1%, ending a four-day streak of gains, after US President Donald Trump announced that the United States will continue its war against Iran in the coming weeks.
Spot Gold dropped 1.3%, to $4694.48 an ounce, and US Gold Futures fell 1.9%, to $4,723.70.
Other metals saw spot silver fall 2.9% to $72.95, while platinum fell 1.8% to 1,928.26, and palladium dropped 1.4% to 1,451.85. (QNA)
