Washington, April 17 (QNA) - HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari met with HE Minister of Finance of the People's Republic of China Lan Fo'an and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) held between Apr. 13-18, 2026 in Washington DC.

  During the meeting, a range of financial and economic issues were reviewed, as well as current regional and international developments and the associated challenges, particularly those related to matters of mutual interest between the State of Qatar on the one hand and the People's Republic of China and the IMF.
