Kuwait, April 17 (QNA) - Kuwait welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon, praising the efforts of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

In a statement on Friday, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its support for Lebanon in all measures it takes to assert state authority, restrict weapons to state institutions, and advance efforts to safeguard its security, stability, and sovereignty across its entire territory. (QNA)
