Oman’s Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments with UK Deputy Prime Minister
Muscat, April 16 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held talks Thursday morning with Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of Justice of the United Kingdom David Lammy. During which they discussed the latest developments in the region and their implications.
During the talks held in the Omani capital, Muscat, both sides called for intensifying international efforts to reduce tensions, enhance channels of dialogue and advance peaceful and diplomatic solutions, in a way that contributes to strengthening the foundations of security and stability at both the regional and international levels. They also emphasized the importance of safeguarding maritime security and the safety of navigation, as well as ensuring the smooth flow of maritime transport, in support of the stability of global supply chains.
The talks addressed a number of issues related to the existing relations and joint cooperation between the two countries across various fields. (QNA)
