Lebanese Health Ministry: 11 Killed, Others Injured in Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, April 15 (QNA) - Eleven people were killed and others injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated in a press release that Israeli airstrike on the town of Abbasiya in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of seven people and injuries to 17 others, including children.
Israeli airstrikes on the Abbasiya intersection also resulted in one death and injuries to eight others, while an attack targeting ambulance crews in the town of Mayfadoun in the Nabatieh district killed three paramedics and injured six.
Earlier Wednesday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country since March 2nd had risen to 2,164, with 7,061 injured. (QNA)
