Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait, April 15 (QNA) - Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 67.80 points to reach 8,773.34 points, an increase of 0.78 percent.

As many as 410.7 million shares valued at KWD 106.4 million (roughly USD 344.3 million) were traded via 25,958 transactions.

The Main Market Index went up by 101.40 points to reach 8,105.52 points, up by 1.27 percent, through 255.9 million shares done via 13,652 transactions valued at KWD 33.8 million (roughly USD 109.2 million).

The Premier Market Index gained 64.15 points to reach 9,370.71 points, up by 0.69 percent, through 154.8 million shares done via 12,306 transactions valued at KWD 72.6 million (roughly USD 234.8 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index went up by 147.25 points to reach 8,902.63 points, up by 1.68 percent, through stock volume of 236 million shares done in 11,508 deals at a value of KWD 31 million (roughly USD 100.3 million). (QNA)
