Beijing, April 14 (QNA) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov Tuesday the escalation in the Middle East and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
During their meeting in Beijing, Wang stated that the two countries should continue their strategic coordination on major international and regional issues, noting the "highly volatile international situation and the increasing damage caused by unilateral hegemony."
The two ministers also discussed preparations for a meeting between the two countries' presidents later this year.(QNA)
