Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Protection of Israeli Occupation Police
Occupied Jerusalem, April 12 (QNA) - Settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque Sunday under the protection of Israeli occupation police.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound along with dozens of settlers.
It added that during the incursion, settlers performed Talmudic prayers inside the mosque courtyards, in what was described as a new provocative step as part of attempts to impose a new religious reality at the site and to entrench temporal and spatial division.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated that this incursion comes amid escalating violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, along with ongoing restrictions imposed on worshipers’ access. (QNA)
