Beirut, April 11 (QNA) - The Lebanese Ministry of Health's Emergency Health Operations Center announced today that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the country, which began on March 2, has risen to 2,020, with 6,436 injured.

The Lebanese Disaster Risk Management Unit stated that 97 people were killed in the past 24 hours, while 133 others were injured.

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation launched a sweeping offensive on southern Lebanon on March 2, before expanding its operations to the southern suburbs of Beirut and the central and eastern regions of the country. This offensive has forced more than one million people to flee their homes and exacerbated the already dire living conditions for the majority of Lebanese. (QNA)
