Israeli Forces Detain Three Syrians in Daraa and Quneitra
Damascus, April 11 (QNA) - Israeli forces detained three Syrians on Saturday during incursions into areas in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra in southern Syria.
Israeli troops carried out a raid in the village of Kudna in the southern countryside of Quneitra, where they detained two men and transferred them to an undisclosed location. The reasons for their detention were not immediately known.
In a separate incident, an Israeli unit advanced into the Wadi al-Raqad area in the western countryside of Daraa, where another Syrian man was detained.
The detentions come amid continued Israeli incursions into southern Syria, violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between the two sides.
Syria has repeatedly called on the international community to take action to halt such operations and to press for a full Israeli withdrawal from Syrian territory. (QNA)
