New Delhi, April 10 (QNA) - The draw for the 2026 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship has placed Qatar in Pool B ahead of the tournament, which will be held in Ahmedabad, India, from June 20 to 28.

Qatar will compete in a challenging group alongside South Korea, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Oman, following the outcome of the official draw.

Pool B is widely seen as balanced but highly competitive, presenting a number of technical challenges. The Qatari national team enters the tournament with strong ambitions to maintain its growing presence on the Asian stage, particularly in light of its recent performances and improved continental ranking.

Meanwhile, Pool A features host nation India, along with Australia, Bahrain, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, and New Zealand.

The organizing committee has divided the 12 participating teams into two groups, with the competition expected to be fiercely contested given the close level of competition and the shared determination among teams to contend for the continental title. (QNA)
