Beijing Urges De-escalation in Region and Calls for Diplomatic Solutions
Beijing, April 10 (QNA) - China called on all parties concerned to resolve disputes through political and diplomatic channels, and to exercise calm and restraint to de-escalate tensions in the region.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said during a press briefing on Friday, in response to continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, that the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran would help end the war and restore peace and stability.
She added that Beijing previously called on Thursday for respect for Lebanon's sovereignty and security, stressing the need to protect civilian lives and property. (QNA)
