Manama, April 10 (QNA) - Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and his Peruvian counterpart Hugo de Zella discussed regional developments, including Iranian attacks on Bahrain and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping, in a phone call today.

During the call, de Zella expressed his country's solidarity with Bahrain in the face of the Iranian attacks, which have resulted in loss of life and property, and commended the measures Bahrain is taking to protect its security and stability. He also noted the efforts of the Manama authorities at the UN Security Council to advance a draft resolution aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping without restrictions.
