Cairo, April 10 (QNA) - Arab League on Friday reaffirmed its full solidarity with Lebanon in the face of the Israeli occupation aggression.

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit spoke by phone with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and stressed the necessity of including Lebanon in the ceasefire agreement recently reached between the United States and Iran.

For his part, Salam reviewed the difficult situation his country is experiencing due to Israel's continued attacks.

The Secretary-General expressed his support for the Lebanese government's decisions to restrict weapons in Beirut to official state institutions and to engage in negotiations with Israel to reach a permanent peace deal. (QNA)
