Doha, March 8 (QNA) - HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani emphasized the importance of continuing field monitoring of markets and strengthening coordination among various stakeholders to ensure market stability and the availability of essential goods for consumers.

This came during His Excellency's visit to the Ministry's Operations Center, where he reviewed the strategic reserves of essential goods and the mechanisms in place to monitor supply chains, as part of his ongoing oversight of the Ministry's operations and its efforts to safeguard market stability.

A statement issued by the Ministry today indicated that, during the visit, HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani was briefed on the measures adopted to ensure the steady supply of essential commodities, as well as the coordination mechanisms with suppliers and relevant authorities, which contribute to maintaining market stability and ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted flow of goods.

HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry commended the efforts of the Ministry's staff, praising their continuous readiness and dedication in monitoring markets and responding to various developments, thereby supporting market stability and ensuring that consumers' needs are consistently met. (QNA)
