Riyadh, March 8 (QNA) - The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Sunday the interception of a drone in the Empty Quarter, heading towards the Shaybah oil field.

The announcement was made by the official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al Maliki.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense had previously announced the interception and destruction of five drones that were heading towards various locations within Saudi Arabia. (QNA)
