Amman, March 05 (QNA) - Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, held a telephone conversation today with his Irish counterpart, Helen McEntee. The two discussed the implications of the dangerous regional escalation on international security and stability.
The discussion also covered the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as the critical deterioration of conditions in Lebanon.
During the call, the Jordanian Foreign Minister renewed his country's condemnation of Iranian attacks against Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. He characterized these actions as an unjustified escalation and a flagrant violation of international law and state sovereignty.
Safadi emphasized that Jordan will take all necessary and available measures to protect its citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty. (QNA)
