Ankara, March 5 (QNA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed regional developments in a phone call Thursday with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, the Turkish President emphasized his country's close monitoring of developments in Iran, expressing his sorrow over the civilian casualties and his concern about their escalation due to the conflict.
He stressed that the conflict cannot be allowed to spread to the region, affirming that a prolonged conflict in Iran would create instability in the region and the world.
President Erdogan noted that his country is making intensive efforts to strengthen the diplomatic process and resume negotiations. (QNA)
