UAE Extinguishes Fire on Kuwaiti Oil Tanker After Iranian Drone Attack

Dubai, March 31 (QNA) - Dubai's Government Media Office reported early today that the fire on a Kuwaiti oil tanker, caused by an Iranian drone attack, has been successfully extinguished.
In a statement posted on X, the office said Dubai authorities confirmed that emergency teams managed to put out the fire on the vessel.
Officials added that teams continue to assess the situation and take necessary measures. No injuries were reported, and the safety of all 24 crew members has been secured.
Earlier, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation had reported that the giant Kuwaiti crude oil tanker Al Salmi was directly targeted in a deliberate Iranian attack while in the anchorage E of Dubai Port. (QNA)
