Bahrain Interior Ministry: Three Arrested for Forming Hezbollah-Linked Terrorist Cell
Manama, March 31 (QNA) - Bahrain's Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has arrested three persons for forming a terrorist cell affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah organization.
In a statement issued today, the ministry said the suspects, in coordination with terrorist elements abroad, sought to engage in espionage with them in a manner intended to undermine the sovereignty of the state, spread fear and panic among citizens and residents, and endanger the security and safety of the country.
The statement added that the necessary legal procedures have been taken, and the suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution. (QNA)
