Jordan's King, Greek PM Discuss Regional Escalation

Amman, March 03 (QNA) - King Abdullah II discussed the serious developments in the Middle East during a phone call Tuesday with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, stressing the need for international action to halt the escalation.

King Abdullah II underscored the importance of de-escalating the dangerous situation and respecting the sovereignty of states in the region, as well as the need for effective international efforts to spare the region the repercussions of the current crisis.

He also reaffirmed that Jordan will continue taking all necessary measures to safeguard its security, protect its citizens, and preserve its sovereignty. (QNA)
