Kyiv, March 29 (QNA) - Ukraine announced Sunday that its air defenses shot down 380 Russian drones out of 442 launched by Russia Saturday night toward Ukrainian territory.
The Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that Russian troops targeted several locations in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Defense Forces used aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, and electronic warfare to intercept the drones, shooting 380 down.
According to preliminary data, seven locations were hit, and debris was found at 14 other locations.
Since the outbreak of the conflict on Feb. 24, 2022, both Russia and Ukraine have issued almost daily reports claiming advances or repelling attacks by the other side. These reports have not been independently verified due to the current situation. (QNA)
