Kuwait Defense Ministry: Ten Armed Forces Personnel Injured in Camp Attack
Kuwait City, March 29 (QNA) - Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that ten members of the armed forces were injured following an attack targeting one of its military camps.
Ministry's official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, said during a press briefing that Kuwaiti armed forces detected and intercepted 14 hostile ballistic missiles and 12 hostile drones within the country's airspace over the past 24 hours.
He added that the attack targeted one of the armed forces’ camps with several missiles and drones, resulting in injuries to 10 personnel and material damage to the site, noting that the wounded are receiving necessary treatment.
He further said that a warehouse belonging to a private logistics company was also struck, causing material damage only, with no reported casualties. He added that since the start of the aggression on February 28, a total of 307 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 616 drones have been detected.
The spokesperson affirmed that members of Kuwaiti armed forces continue to carry out their national duties with a high level of readiness and discipline, remaining committed to protecting the country and preserving its security and stability. (QNA)
