Beirut, March 27 (QNA) - One person was killed and seven others were wounded in a new Israeli airstrike that targeted eastern Lebanon on Friday evening.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health's emergency operations center stated that Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on the town of Al-Bazaliyah in the northern Bekaa Valley, killing one woman and wounding seven others.

Israeli aircraft also struck the Al-Midan neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh, while Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of the towns of Al-Bayada and Tayr Harfa in southern Lebanon.

Earlier today, six people were killed and 17 others were injured in two Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon. (QNA)
